Andy is a Director and Head of Advice at MHQ with 18+ years in financial services, passionate about helping Kiwis protect their wealth and make confident financial decisions.
Andy Turner has spent his entire career in financial services, entering the industry at just 16 and building more than 18 years of experience across financial advice and leadership. Today, Andy is a Director and Head of Advice across Insurance and KiwiSaver at MHQ, combining his experience as an adviser, business founder and industry leader to help Kiwis protect what they’ve built, grow their wealth and create greater financial freedom. Having founded and scaled his own advice businesses, Andy is passionate about raising the standard of financial advice and making complex financial decisions simple. Alongside advising clients, Andy is heavily involved in developing advisers, improving advice standards and helping shape the future of the industry. In 2026, he was recognised as a finalist for Outstanding Insurance Adviser of the Year and appointed to the Fidelity Life Adviser Council for 2026/27, contributing to conversations that impact advisers and their clients across New Zealand. His philosophy is simple: great advice isn’t about selling products. It’s about providing clarity, building confidence and helping people make better financial decisions—today and for the future.
